Set up a decade ago, Salient Books continue to be what can best be described as a very small, family-run “micro-publisher”.

Originally established to allow Wayne Osborne to publish his own works on The Great War (after he’d been given the run around by big, mainstream publishers – who are well known for such behaviour), we have since published titles by other “friends and family”, which range from military history, to railways, memoirs and fiction.

Our books are not often found in bookshops or in on-line stores but can be purchased direct from us.  You can pay via PayPal, using either a credit/debit card or a PayPal account.
